The PAT CAM-235 Camshaft Position Sensor is a direct replacement engine management sensor suitable for Nissan Navara D40 ST-X 550 and Pathfinder R51 Ti 550 models fitted with the 3.0L V9X V6 turbo diesel engine.

The camshaft position sensor monitors the position and rotational speed of the camshaft and supplies this information to the engine ECU for accurate fuel injection and engine timing control. A failing camshaft sensor can contribute to hard starting, intermittent stalling, rough running, loss of power or engine management fault codes.
